Hi all,

I've just joined the forum as I have a 58-reg 308 saloon with a 1.4 litre petrol engine. The heater doesn't get warm (let alone hot) even though the engine reaches normal working temp quite quickly.

I would like to bleed the cooling system in case there is air present, but don't know where the bleed screws for the heater or thermostat are situated.

I have no technical books for this model yet and am currently searching for a used Haynes manual (if anyone has one for sale).

I would be grateful for an under-bonnet view of the engine, clearly showing the coolant bleed points.

Thanks in anticipation of any useful hints and tips, as I'm new to this model.

PF.

The most common issue is a air lock there is a bleed point on the bulkhead close to where the heater pipes go into the car.
