Hi

Recently upgraded my headunit and the date / time is flashing constantly at me on the centre console and have no why of changing it.

The pinching of >> << does nothing on the ‘Steering Wheel Control Stalk’.

I thought when fitting an aftermarket headunit it might have transferred the ‘Menu Function’ from the RD4 headunit to the ‘Steering Wheel Control Stalk’.

I have a 'Control Pro Steering Wheel Adaptor' from Halfords fitted which just seems to maintain the audio function of the stalk.

Help?

The date and time are controlled through the RD4 head unit so once removed the function is lost.
I'm sure i read about a work-around, something to do with setting clock/date with RD4 then swapping it for your new unit. If this is correct you'd have to do this twice a year.
Hopefully someone will be along to confirm/deny this method....
