One of the headlights on my 407 is out.

I've tried a new D2S bulb, and tried swapping the ignighter from the other headlight that does work, but no joy.

Any ideas what could be up or what to try next?

The 406 has mini fuses in the engine bay fuse box, 10amp I think - 4 red ones for Hi/low - left/right.

I guess the 407 is the same..?

Then I'm stumped, unless there is a break in the wire due to chaffing..??

I hadn't seen that post; thanks for the link.:thumb:

It didn't take the mechanic long, although he had to get new plastic clips from Peugeot and said it looked like the car had had an accident at the front passenger side corner as some of the back of the bumper had broken off (which is consistent with the missing headlight washer cover on that side).

In any case, as you might have gathered I'm not particularly experienced or confident -- and it's not like software where you can just take a copy before you start meddling and therefore put it all back where you found it in an instant.
