Hi All,
Seals went on no.4 injector. could be gone long time ago.
Removed injector to replace copper washer, seal o-ring and protector.
Sleeve came out with injector. It seems to be seized onto it.
what are my options? I haven't tried to remove the sleeve yet.
If i can remove the sleeve (i have acces to a machine shop) is it just a matter of cleaning everything up and putting the sleeve back in and putting in the injector. I'm fairly desperate as car is off the road and i can't afford to bring it elsewhere to be fixed.
It is a 2008 1.6 hdi 110bhp with 176,000 kms on clock.
This is the only thing that has ever failed on the car.
