Hi all,

Have a strong suspicion that my DMF is on its last legs. Quite a lot of squeaking on pulling away which has recently gotten a lot worse, as well as squeaking on idle. I understand that this is the DMF.

My car's done 103,000 miles and nowhere in the maintenance records is there anything about a flywheel - presumably its on its first so its done remarkably well compared to some.

Whats the consensus out there on replacement options? A new DMF? Single Mass conversion? Who's done what and whats the result like?

Does anyone know where to get the parts for the best price (ebay aside)?

Many thanks

I had an SMF conversion done on my 110 2.0 HDI 307 and it was a pleasure to drive after that. Only downside was clutch was a tad on the heavy side to operate.Got mine off of ebay though.
