When unlocking my 54 plate 307 1.6hdi using the button the hazards are flashing very quickly around 9 times. Is this normal for a 307 or is it trying to tell me something?
I have only just bought the car so don't know if it has always done it. I did start with a search but cannot see any other discussion about this topic?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Also, if you press the button to lock the car when its locked already, the lights flash for ages..:nono:
Interior lights come on as well - its the car park locator function if you forget whereabouts you parked.

Stick the remote under your chin before pressing the button as this increases the remote range.

Being a 307 you should get a message something along the lines of REMOTE KEYFOB BATTERY LOW ( or words to the affect ) on the multi function display if the remote battery needs changing.

Do you have a owners handbook with the car?

Thank you, I know the key fob is fine as it works great :) I tried to read the whole owners manual and spent an hour or so skimming through as it is so long. I also looked at the index for 'unlocking' regarding the flashing but couldn't find anything. Have just checked again and found the information is there under 'keys' on page 92, had I known where to look!

This is really sad I know but,we counted the flashes on my first 407 and agreed on 53.
