Any recommendations for granny chargers for Peugeot e-208 going up to north of Scotland so would like a back up option

For my car, they included a "granny charger

I believe in the UK we got supplied the type 2 - type 2 connector.

No, not standard supplied part in the UK. I got mine from Screwfix, been working a treat for months.

Anyway, it's a danger and takes forever with granny charger, so a type-2 is a must to have.
I charge my car at home with a type-2 at 230V, 7,2 kW but the granny charger only gives 230V, 1,8 kW.

Because at least in the northern Europe countries, we use 230V 10A and the charger takes almost all of it. That is no problem for short term use but a car can use that for many many hours many times a month and it wears on the electric cables going to it so over time it can be a fire hazard.

Not sure about the UK though.
