Daughters 106 1.1 fuel pump apparently has failed.
I have been given quotes of up to £400 to replace, I can't get to see the car yet, but according to Haynes it's located on the cylinder head, but the rac guy apparently got under the car to diagnose the problem. Can anyone help? I'm not paying 400, and seems I can get a pump for 30. How easy is the job?
Thanks
Dave

106 changed a lot in their life early ones are on head later ones are electric but even the electric one is not hard to change

NEVER believe the RAC or AA they dont know everything and when the computer wont talk to the car they are lost :)

You can get a quality O/E pump from GSF for £150-£175 ?
Before you buy follow reliable`s advice, check all wires and multi plugs first.
