hi I have a 2007 307 convertible 2.0 sport hdi cc now I want to change fuel filter but I have herd housing can damage when trying to open it so is there anywhere I can get one from at a good price been looking but don't no what one to get as there is more than one out there
thank you ash it is a 136bhp 16v don't no what to do I mean if it does brake im naffed but trying to get a new one having no luck where would you search mate if you were going for new one or second hand
2007 should be facelift engine with plastic intake if it is this filter is not the one that breaks but there is a special socket to make removal easier I made one out an old socket and a grinder

Yes that is the correct housing IF yours has the plastic intake manifold but if its that type then they open fine even with a standard socket the correct tool just makes life easier
If you didn't hand pump and bleed the filter it could have thrown a wobbly when first started due to air in system. Hence the EML. Now it's self bled should be fine.
it did come up with something on dash boerd something being faulty but I did use hand pump to bled it was that on top of filter I did notice something on top that you could unskrew
got ya my fault should of read on here how to bled system well ash you have been a great help thanks very much
