Right guys,

You all probably know but I didn't so I'll save some people the hassle.

Don't use your handbrake in the cold seasons...

My rear left wheel wouldn't disengage the brake, so I drove about a mile and shaved a flat edge on my wheel. then everybody told me "err what did you put the handbrake on for you pillock?"

Fair enough, but I didn't know it was going to freeze/seize. So it's in the garage now.

So, moral of the story, no handbrake in snow!

The cold is being mean to my car like. hate it.

Mine did exactly the same on friday morning, thankfully didn't wreck the tyre.... strip down and clean when the weathers a bit warmer! No handbrake until then...

Well apparently it was because the trunking around the cable is chafed so the water is getting in and freezing it. the rear right wheel is fine though. Hmmm...
