Hello,

I,ve tried with Diagbox and PP2000 to read some codes on my 307 sw. I cannot operate the system. I am getting error messages...eg 'no dialogue'...'ECU did not reply'...'communication error'..etc etc etc....

I do not want to be beaten by it ...I need to address the faults for the MOT.
I'd like to keep the car on the road for another couple of years ...the engine still runs lovely.

I wanted to start at the beginning by showing the various items that make up my diagnostic 'system'. Eg the lexia cable and other hardware.

I can't post images because I don't have enough posts...the whole exercise is doing my head in!

The number and letters on the lexia cable is ACTIA...PSA XS EVOL 9780.Z5...If that makes sense to anyone.

Is the equipment outdated?

I got a disc with the lexia and have followed the instructions but it keeps using internet updates...the version on the disc is v.7.01

Gibbo kindly sent me some info but I can't follow it properly. I need a step by step guide.

I don't know if I've got enough memory on the laptop and dont know what to download before the whole procedure proper.

I'm sure the diagnostic equipment worked a few years ago when I used it.

I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what.

All help appreciated.

thanks

I think the problem IS the internet updates. You should refuse. The Peugeot servers can recognise the cracked software.

I did refuse Ian but when I reboot and click the DB icon The internet updates happen immediately. It wont run the app until it has checked for updates.

Success!!!

Ive managed to get the PP2000 to respond and so I can read the faults.

My Airbag issue says...

Airbag ECU...Intermittent fault....Level of driver module trigger....Open circuit.

Now my question is does anyone know how to correct the fault?

Is there a list of 'remedies/repairs' on the forum anywhere where people have had the same issue?

All suggestions appreciated.

That may be the little plugs on the airbag weren't put back on properly, I had the same issue before when the previous owner must have changed the airbag, the little green clips that hold the airbag on Must be opened when plugging the airbag back into the steering wheel, then pushed firmly closed After the plugs are clipped into place
