Hi all since i have had dpf removed the flexi pipe which i believe connects to the cat is blowing, spoke to a few garages who have said to buy a new cat with it on, my point is why replace the cat when there is nothing wrong with it, i have since found a garage that is saying he can either weld a new one on or possibly clamp the new one on. Does anybody know if this is possible? also does anybody no what size the flexi pipe is as will have to buy a universal one and would rather get the correct size part. Thanks Paul

Car is a 307 2.0 hdi s 110 04 plate

A colleague of mine is in the same situation - I've looked on Service Box and there is no separate part number for the flexi pipe (for his car - there may be one for yours), so it would have to come integrated with the cat.

However, if you can weld the universal piping, why not do that? It'd save a few quid.
