Hi, I have a 2012 Peugeot Boxer 440, 3.0L HDi.

Just yesterday the oil light started flashing, now I know it means the oils has become degraded in some fashion, but was only serviced about 2000 miles ago, so I am assuming they used cheap oil.

Question is I have tried to reset it using the methods I found on the internet. I.e. Foot on the accelerator and brake ignition on and off etc, nothing works.

Do I have to replace the oil and filter FIRST, then do the reset. I know it’s not a major problem but I don’t like the flashing lights telling me there is something not quite right.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, thought I had to change the oil first.

Is there a known reset procedure for the 2012 Boxer, or can I use my code reader to reset it.
