Some advice please from anybody in the know!
So basically ive followed the advice already found on this forum, checked fuse, cleaned contacts on rheostat and connector, just fitted a new rheostat, and still no joy. so a few questions

1.is there anything else i should check?
2.if not then i assume ill have to check the wiring or replace it. is this a full loom or just a small part of it?
3.is it a must to have to remove the dashboard and if so how long will this take approx?

any help much appreciated :thumb:

Hi, Just thought id reply to this incase anybody was serching the same problem.
Turns out the fault was at the connector where the heater loom joins the main wiring loom under the glovebox. Had check this before but upon a second check and peeling the black sleeve back a bit, i realised the wire that appeared brown was actually green/yellow :(
Anyway inside the connector was melted so i just cut it out an replace with some 30amp block connector. Problem Solved
