Hi guys
Bought this nice very very cheap 307 as an extra car.
It is fighting hard however. All mechanical issues pretty much sorted.
However the electronics are not my thing really. Im kind of oldschool.

Getting two faults both related to each other.
First one in the BSI saying bsm is numb on Can net.
Second is in bsm saying can not responding.
New box?
Is the bsi and bsm not the same unit?
Advice much appreciated

BSM is under bonnet fuse box, i have seen this code a few times sometimes they appear phantom and other times its been down to a BSI/ECU change and the setting not being changed to fully reflect the vehicle configuration
Dont know anything on the history of the car.
But have heard that the 307 apparently are known to burn the BSM board.
So I’ll try to get a salvage one and go from there.

HI..307's are prone to the wiriing in the door shut causing issues...my own on had a couple of broken wires in the door shut causing a host of issues with windows.....check there carefully.. a the wire may even be broken within the cover of individual wires....
Would that throw a fault like that.
It is translated from Danish by me.
So it might be written a little different if I used an English version.
I will look check all wires this weekend.
