Hi all
I have been informed by a bodyshop that there are 4 fault codes showing.
B1400, U1802, U1FOO and B1003.
Has anybody come across these codes.
The car drives fine, no warnings are displayed and the cars diagnostic on the smeg advises no fault. What level of fault would it display.
Can anyone suggest a reasonable hand held code reader.I don't want to go to a Peugeot dealer just yet but may well have to.
Thanks for any response.

How did they find them? What did they use?

If they are EOBD faults then any EOBD scanner will give you some information, but if they are anything else, then only Diagbox will help.

See all the posts on Diagbox/Lexia.

I think you'll need to use Diagbox to get real answers. The second digit is '1' which means "Manufacturer Specific Enhanced", i.e. PSA's own error codes.

'B' means a "Body related system". 'U' means a "Networked related system".

B1400, Third digit means "Auxiliary Emission Controls"
U1802, Third digit means "Transmission"
U1FOO, Third digit not known
B1003, Third digit means "Fuel and air metering and auxiliary emission controls"

Diagbox will be necessary to get the right answers as the same manufacturer specific code can vary from car to car and only if Diagbox "knows" the VIN can the correct answer be found.

Thanks to Marc at French Car Forum for his Diagnostic Code Identifier table.
