The FAP additive warning display has come on on my '56 407sw estate, any ideas what this does, the book (as per usual) just says take it to your nearest dealer to be checked out, i have read its an additive that is sprayed into the exhaust fumes for some reason so am i doing any damage still driving it?

Look under your car behind left back wheel and you will see a container this has to be topped up with a fluid called eloys and your counters reset ,
search this site for additive top up ,
this usually occurs between 100/120,000 on the clock ,you can continue driving in the mean time ,come back when you have read the other thread .
