I have an issue with the external temperature sensor on my 2014 Bipper. It's the one located in the driver door mirror.

Initial problem was temp was always reading below zero so was generating the ice warning which was nothing more than an annoyance. I ordered a replacement sensor and eventually got round to replacing it.
Now the problem is slightly different with the new sensor. The displayed temperature is now between +43 and +56C, which I can assure you in northern Scotland it is not!

Does anyone know what else the problem could be? I have checked continuity of wiring only through to connector at door as I'm not sure where it goes from there. The continuity is ok so probably not a bad connection (in the door harnesses anyway).
