Had a funny noise on my expert e7 taxi sounded like some of the videos I've seen for bottom pulley. Bottom pulley is fine and the engine had reduced power now won't even turn over. Thinking maybe the timing belt had jumped or let off tension i regimes using the marks from when I replaced timing belt 18,000 miles ago aswell as the locking pins for crank and cam. All retimmed it won't turn over as if it's locking? Any ideas gonna take the rocker box cover off and see next but thought I'd post on here to see if anybody had any ideas?

Had something like this on my E7. Noisy pulley sound and then just clicks when trying to start. It turned out to be a flat battery caused by a knackered alternator.

If your timing belt had jumped it would break the lifters and rockers but still turn over. Had that happen too.

The Noise turned out to be the dropped valve rattling backwards and forwards. It wouldn't turn over because the lifter had jammed it's self in the next valve and lifter. Got a new engine for £500 should finish putting it back to gether tomorrow.

It's out of a 407 rhr code need to swap all my injectors ect and ancillaries over. To buy a rhk was rather more expensive

There not coded as far as I am aware but the new engine didn't come with injectors so had to use mine. My advice though unless it's a 2grand plus saving don't bother
