Hi all, am new to this forum but am looking for some urgent advice. I recently brought a 2006 expert van which had a minor oil leak. I kept it topped up and just lived with it. The other day the oil leak became catastrophic and was free flowing down the front of the sump in the middle. As it looked it appeared to be sump gasket which I changed today. Filled back up with oil and ran for a few mins and oil leak was still there. It was coming from above the sump. I could see oil dripping freely from just under the fuel system up in the middle to the right. I can't seem to find out what the engine type is or get any diagrams so I have no idea what up there. I can't see much as there is a lot in the way of that part of the block. Any ideas ? Is the oil pump there? Or any oil hoses? Any help very welcome.
Thanks folks
