TL;DR: How does one reset the additive counter in DIAGBOX.

I've managed to replace the additive pouch, and get it all back in.

I'm now trying to get the damn car to accept that I've done it. I've had a good search around but I can't find any guides with regard to Diagbox (only PP).

I looked in Repair -> Global Test -> Additive Pump and I selected the option for changing the additive bag, and even the additive ECU (setting the level to 100%). The only "counters" I can find reference to are:

Eolys % state: Soft bag full
Volume remaining in bag: 2.2
Capacity of bag: 2.2

I thought about it, but I can't find any way to tell the car it's had a new DPF. In the Engine ECU > Repair all it does is tell me the DPF intervals, or under Additive all it does is tell me the reset procedure once I've reset the counter. WHAT COUNTER!?!

I tried the fuel flap open for 10 seconds thing after changing the options I did above but still the damn light won't go off. On mine when you turn the ignition on it waits a few seconds (to give you false hope) then goes BEEEEP the warning triangle on dash lights up and "FAP ADDITIVE LOW" on the display screen. After a few seconds it all goes off.

I've even tried choosing the PPS (Peugeot Planet) option in Diagbox (following some instructions at http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/electrical-54/how-reset-dpf-fluid-additive-level-counters-pp2000-21676/), but I don't get a Global Test option.

Please chaps, save my sanity :)

That info is reading a full bag so counter knows its changed i think it needs done in 2 places then the faults may need cleared from memory but given that its seeing a full bag it may be happy once its been refueled and done a few hundred miles to do its regen cycle assuming there are no other faults preventing regen.

Additive low doesn't show up as a fault on mine, which I thought deeply unhelpful!

I wasn't sure if it would clear itself, but I'll try it thanks! Peugeot pot luck I guess

There are some intermittent turbo faults (sensor on it's way out) but it has never stopped a regen in the past so hopefully should all go ok. It needs some diesel so I'll try that before I go any further into the Diagbox menus :)

Update time. For reference by the way, this is the RHR 136 engine of 2006 vintage.

I've now been and filled up with diesel, and also been on a 100 mile round trip yesterday on the motorway. The damn warning triangle still pops up when you turn the ignition on warning of low additive.

I installed PP2000 today (had been using Diagbox) and tried the counter reset in that, but the menus are different compared to any instructions for resetting the counter that I could find. I also checked the DPF soot load and it was 4%.

Anyone ever managed this on this engine?
