Having just done a cambelt change and had a coil immediately fail (all repaired and the engine now running much better and the solenoid fault on the gearbox seems to have gone away?).
A week on another issue has arisen. In the last couple of days when starting the car the engine died after a second or so - was then able to get it going again. Now this morning, it would only crank but not fire.
Just been out to car to connect it to Diagbox - and the engine now won't crank at all and the Engine ECU isn't communicating, and the autobox ECU comes back as "unrecognised". All other fitted modules have communicated with Diagbox.
I checked the battery voltage, which is 11.9v. Could this be an issue? What else might suddenly be causing this? Any pointers of where to go next.
