Hi all, I have the new 2015 508sw model and it needs brake pads front and rear, the front look fairly straight forward, but the back has EPB and I attempted to replace them but couldn't remove the caliper as the EPB was on, and I couldn't switch it off. I retreated in defeat as I didn't want to risk forcing the caliper off and damaging it. Can anyone please tell me how to dis-engage the EPB or if the caliper has to persuaded off. Regards Paul

You just need to release the handbrake.
Switch the ignition on (press start button without your foot on the brake pedal)
Then put your foot on the brake then press (press don’t pull) the parking brake button.
The brake should release.
You can then switch off the ignition.
Mind it will make a lot of loud beeping when you open the door to remind you the handbrake isn’t on.
Make sure you have all the brakes put back together before you switch the ignition back on.
