Hello

I have a Peugeot Boxer 2007

Had a fault 6 months ago, main dealer said it was ECU, I said I thought it was a wiring fault.

ECU replaced and loom re-routed at £1300

2 weeks ago, exactly the same fault, as previous

But now they have found and fixed 3 broken wires and a relay, so far so good it seems fine.

I am going to get the ECU sent off and checked out.

MY QUESTION IS:

If it comes back as OK, what the thoughts on going back to Peugeot for a refund etc for the ecu that did not need replacing

Any thoughts?

Thanks Lots
Marcus

I would say that if the removed ECU comes back as no fault found your dealer owes you a refund after all they are meant to be the experts on your vehicle

Thanks buddy

I've sent Ecu off to ECU testing company

They seem pretty good, had an email to say they have received Ecu and it will be inspected next week

They will issue a document to say if it's ok or not

Then it will be be a awarked call to Peugeot if it's ok

The chap at Ecu testing said they have had this situation before

Thanks for reply
