I have tried this in VW group cars with automatic gearbox..you just hit the brake pedal and the gas pedal at the same time in sport mode..than you release the brake pedal and it will maintain the optimal RPMs to launch the car with the most effective power to the wheels.

Does anybody tried this with EAT6???

I`ll let someone else try that one, i prefer to drive a little more serene from the traffic lights. Can`t see it doing the engine or gearbox any good :nono:
actually you don't do it quite often...maybe drag races..or measure the acceleration. Holding down the break pedal should last only few seconds..I guess no more than 3secs.

It's a factory thing in these models..only with wet clutch.
