is there a level sensor in the additive tank its out on loan atm i think i found why i have a reocurring problem even after a reset of values 100miles later reocuring faults code its comes back with saying its empty and its deffinately full if it does have a sensor im going for that unless i test the wiring down there

its had a new cap sensor which cleared that code the only 1 in there is this empty level warning cant remember the code but we checked it over the pumps primimming. im wondering weather the people i paid to first reset set it all actually didnt do a proper job so ive done it my self this time and await to see if it returns the filter is no longer blocked either and all other codes have not returned

right ive had it looked at on pp

no fault codes on additive ecu

on engine ecu theres these

p1435
p1446
p1442
p1448

and it says additive 1 gram

am i along the lines in thinking the garage i paid to reset it only reset it in 1 place and not the other thats what im thinking

Not sure if you've looked these up, but here they are:

P1435 - A/C Refrigerant temperature circuit Range/Performance.
EDC15C2 - Additive adding system. Faults additive accuracy.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Fuel gauge fault.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Low additive level sensor fault.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Fuel filler cap present sensor fault.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Faults additive pump.
EDC16C3 - Additive system. Value received by the CAN network incorrect.

P1446 - Evaporative vac solenoid circuit malfunction
EDC15C2-(607) Additive level.
EDC15C2-(307/406) Additive quantity. Additive minimum level wait.

P1442 - Evaporative emission control system Leak detected
EDC15C2-Quantity of additive Additive ECU.

P1448 - ELC system 2 fault
EDC15C2 PEF: Particulate emission filter overloaded.

Does definitely look something to do with additive level and/or filter :nod:

yeh about 1500 miles ago i took filter off and steam cleaned it and top up additives obviously its either blocked its self again or didnt clean properly the first time.

its the 1 piece system which makes me think it didnt clean out fully

so am i looking at a cost of resset and a new filter

it was left over night but it did emit steam from exhaust when left on tick over next day for a while :(

and regarding pp2000 i paid a garage to reset it and inform it had a new filter etc so no guarantee they did it right

i then did about 600 miles before the fault came back now it comes on every day

thought id finish the thread after 2 months of battling the dpf system i have ripped if off and had it stage2 mapped the cars a completly different car to drive and now runs great wish id done this in the first place instead of attempting to fix it

thanks for all your help
