HELP
I have a Fiat Scudo 2.0JTD 110 16v.
It's a re-badged Expert/Dispatch/Jumpy with an RHW engine.
It hasn't started in over a month. Diagnostics done with CDP+ and DiagBox: no faults shown BUT, for: "Cam and Crank synchronised?" they both say NO...
Have inserted timing pins in cam sprocket and flywheel and checked cam-belt, seems fine. Checked flywheel from engine lower side and no obvious damage. Crank sensor replaced and spacer fitted. Cam sensor replaced. Wiring from both sensors checked back to ECU and all is OK. Fuel pressure seems to be OK, peaking @ 400bar, return flow from injectors is minimal and even.
Will check output from crank sensor tomorrow for waveform and replace again if necessary.
Anyone got any ideas???

Cam and crank not synchronised will stop it starting you might have no signal from cam sensor.

Crank sensor also gives engine rev signal do you get a reading for engine revs should crank at around 200-250rpm on starter

return flow from injectors is meaningless they willnot work anyway with your sync error
