Strange noise while braking at slow speeds jacked the car ip and cleaned brakes a while ago the noise stopped but is back. The brakes look fine but noticed one droplink can be turned by hand with out much force, the other takes a lot more. Could this be the cause of the noise. It sounds like something is catching rather than a rattle or a knocking. Also just started to hear a very faint whine from the clutch!

drop links

Hi , Had a similar problem on my 307 xsi. not expensive to fit or to do. I would get front steering geometry checked first to see if it is an issue though..

Had both wheels of today there is no movement in the links that would indicate a failure but the drivers side needs force to turn on the joint the passenger does not it turns very easy. Also does anyone know what torx bit I need

I think it T25 you may also have flats on rear part of bolt/fixing which you can fit a 17mm spanner on to
