Ok so it's MOT time and when i got the car the belt was well warn along the bottom edge....
So - Checking out Haynes looks like a relatively simple swap... Dont think i'll be taking the seat out unless i have to tho...
A few questions (annoyed with myself as i should know the answers to these!)..
1. As there's pyro's involved I'd best take precautions and kill the battery before i change it. Have heard nightmares about what can happen if you don't do this right though - is there any specific procedure for removing the battery at all... Haynes just says to switch everything off, remove it and leave for a minute when you reconnect.... I seem to remember it was a little more involved that that???
2. Is it actually possible to change without removing the seat??!!!
3. Anyone any clues to how long it would take (Just as a guide!!)
4. Anyone done this and have any tips at all??
Thanks in advance for any info...
Cheers
Paul
