Hi

I have a 2006 307 sw and since last week I have the dpf fluid low level warning message come up every time I start the car up. I was wondering if anyone knew at what level of fluid does the warning message kick in? Would I be okay to drive for a few weeks, months then get the cloud topped up?

Thanks

It depends on how frequently you fill the car with fuel - every time you open and remove the fuel filler cap, a measure of the fluid is injected into the fuel tank.

So, if you're filling the fuel tank every week, expect it to run out quicker compared to filling it up every 2 weeks, for example.

You can get a level reading from Peugeot Planet, if you have access.

In addition to jimmymarsbar's response, just topping up the tank with a tenners worth of fuel rather than filling the tank and running till nearly empty will empty the fluid faster.

You don't have to fill it, stick a litre of fluid in get counters reset and keep an eye on the tank.
Then add more to it later on.
