Hi all, I've recently bought a 03 307 estate hdi (110) with 144,000 miles. The other day the minimum additive level display came on.

I'm thinking of removing the dpf and having the ecu reprogrammed. I can remove the filter myself but was wondering if there was anyone in the Middlesbrough area who can help me with the ecu. I will pay of course.

Many thanks, Kev

If the only trouble it's giving you is that the additive needs filling up, you might as well just fill it up and get the counters reset by someone from here who has access to PP/Diagbox.

Thanks for replies. I've looked at the dpf and it looks like the original. I did consider just topping it up but I'm concerned with the age and mileage that one thing will lead to another and ending up costing a lot of money. I guess thats just the pessimist in me:lol:

You've convinced me. I think I'll try a litre of fluid and get the counters reset as I know someone who can do it and take it from there. Thanks for your input:thumb:
