Hi Everyone,

I have recently fitted a cheap Sony Xplod head unit to my 2004 206, the speakers are still standard because I only wanted an AUX function for the stereo

However even at low volumes and with the bass blasting "Xplod" mode off, my left door mirror seems to vibrate with the music causing the view behind to be slightly obscured

Has anybody had the same issue and was able to fix this, I can live with the issue but it would be nice to be able to see people behind me that AREN'T buzzing around the mirror 馃槃

Thanks

All you can easily do is check there's no play in the mirror assembly and mount.

There has to be a certain amount of 'give' so it can move to be adjusted, but some electric mirrors have a shocking amount of slop - sometimes you can add bits of rubber (cut foam, o-rings, etc.) which helps a lot, or if cable controlled, check there's no slack in those.

Check mirror mounts and sound deaden the door :thumb: Infact sound deadening is as important to good sound quality as speakers are.
