My dad has a peugeot 406 and the indicator stalk is broken, when he indicates the stalk does not go to its staionary position after turning. The same stalk is used to flash the big beam. This is also faulty. He needs a new stalk which can be obtained but just wondering if you guys know anyone that can fit it. Apparantly the steering wheel needs to come off and the airbag needs to be removed. Can you help??? I'm based in Slough, Berkshire and can travel.

Usually not the indicator stalk switches are mounted prior to the steering and are independent, the system can be removed easily, take the covers off and remove the wiring looms and you will know that screws to remove and how to do it, you may even be able to fix the old stalk.

I guess it all depends on where you live - with reguards to a god peugeot dealer.

Remember we all have peugeot dealer books for a reason :) x
