Hi gents,

I have a '06 plate 307 hdi (110)

I wont bore you with a long winded message, but i have a few issues i was hoping you can help me with.

1. When the front windows are already partly down, then when i operate the window up they will go down, it does this on both front windows, used to be every now then and now it is everytime, suggestions?

2, Am i missing something from my air filter pipe? (see attchments)

3, I took my car to the garage and they diagnosed some issues. one being, i do not have a original diesel cap and the garage said that there is a metal plate on the cap that indicates to the car to do something, clean something in the fuel? some thing like that.

any suggestions would be great

Yes to item 2.
Yes to item 3. You need the proper cap. It is to do with the DPF system I believe.
Try disconnecting the battery and leave it for 5 mins or so. Follow the procedure as follows. Does the car beep when the ignition key is close to the ign switch? If yes that is what you want. Lower the drivers window and release the bonnet. Take your key out and shut the door. Wait 5 mins then open bonnet and fit stay. Then undo the earth clamp. Wait another 5 mins and reconnect the battery. Start her up and see what you get.

You are missing a pretty pointless piece of plastic for the air filter its not really essential

The fuel cap has 2 magnets in it it tells the ecu when you refuel

Yes that has magnets so will work

1) Window reset and clean and spray the window channels with silicone spray.
