Topped derv up to the brim,pulled away and notice a large derv puddle under opp side of car and also a trail as i reversed away,20miles later pollution fault etc,got codes for plugs,regen etc anyone had this before on a overfill:(

Purely coincidental. The faults incl heater plugs are all common faults.

ok,so the plugs are in a hell of a place to get to ,how big a job for new ones to be fitted drop engine rather than struggle

They are notorious for breaking in the head on removal. Be very very very careful.
no need to drop the engine.

Ive had the puddle of diesel on the opposite side of the car. i have no idea where it leaks from, so i dont brim mine any more.

the puddle appeared bellow where the dpf fluid tank is located.
