Anyone have any idea if there’s a way I can find out if I have Bosch or Lucas braking system and my rear wheel bearing size 25 or 30mm.
I am trying to buy online and not ya I g much luck to figuring out what I need with my reg number.

I am currently working away until next week so don’t have my vin number to hand.

Have tried service box but have tried to register 7 times and still unsuccessful I have given up with it.

Car is a 2007 1.6hdi 110bhp 5 door.

Thanks in advance for any help given.

George.

Thanks windy1603, I have asked the wife to get me the vin so I will be in touch ASAP with it.
I’m in the middle of the North Sea and nightshift so it may take a little while haha.

I normally use Pagid (cheap with the weekend code for ECP or via their Ebay shop).

Another good place is Mtec brakes if you want drilled or grooved discs and the prices are good. Their drilled rears worked out cheaper on my DS than any other branded disc

Your front discs are 283mm if you need that info

Thanks again for the help folks. And the quick reply’s!

So am I right in Saying I need 283mm front discs and Bosch type pads.

And rear is a solid 249mm disc, also with Bosch pads with wheel bearing built in and of 30mm diameter.

Has the rear got an abs ring also? I’ve seen this on some eBay listings?

And is it recommended to re-use or replace the hub nut?

The rear discs have integrated bearings the outer seal on the bearing incorporates a magnetic ring for the ABS there is no separate ring.
