Hi all I just changed the glowplugs on a friends 1.9 non turbo Diesel 2001 Partner and I noticed the inlet manifold as well as the EGR absolutely full of tar and crud. Although I cleaned as much as I could out I was worried about the rest of the muck going into the engine from the inlet tubes on the block as well as cleaning out the remianing muck inside the inlet manifold itself.

I have seen things like seafoam etc but was wondering if there is any better advice on cleaning as I am sure it will need doing again before too long

Almost forgot that I posted this especially as I haven't had a replies as yet. Surely there must be a few diesel lovers out there??
