Does anyone have a problem in their area with dirty fuel ,were i am i have to change my fuel filter again after just 6000 miles and drain/clean my tank (thats 6 weeks ago at my rate )
seems every other garage here must buy crap and pass it on,
instead of the customs checking cars on the roadside they should just go into every station and check them,
it`s really getting on my t*ts.

Yea we get it round here, my dad thinks it was dirty fuel that wrecked his nissan x-trail. Engine management light came on and wouldnt go off, car had no power, no revs. Spent nearly £100 with three trusted mechanics.

I always said at least if you use red diesel you know its clean... lol

No wonder people are cutting corners the amount of tax that is on it , very tempted to buy a load of cat litter and "clean" the red.:thief:

Last 'dirty' fuel I had was in the silicone in the petrol scare a few years ago. My EML came on, and as the cause hadn't hit the headlines yet I was perplexed, so I dumped a double dose of Redex in the fuel and it cured it. I giggled to see how many schmucks had spent hundreds on new O2 sensors when a tenners worth of Redex would do the job.
