According to Servicebox these are 340mmx30mm but I could do with some more details on these. I believe it's the same discs as also used at the front of the 508 GT.

I started to "test-fit" the 607 brembo calipers to my new hubs yesterday.
I will certainly need a bracket of some sort to make it fit, but it actually seem to be doable in one or another way (as long as they won't foul any other suspension components).

It seem that brake discs with height of 48mm as the 330x30 ones from the 2.7 HDi will fit perfect regarding getting the disc centered in the caliper using the standard mounting lug offset. I need to get some brackets produced and try to center the caliper between the two lugs though, to get it to accept a small enough brake disc (i.e. around 340mm). So if anyone know how I can obtain measurements on the 340x30 discs I would be really pleased :thumb:

Here's a pic from the "test-mount" when fitting it to the lower of the two existing lugs.

Not much of a response here.

I've ordered one brake disc now, they measured it for me and said it was approx 47-48mm high, so that's probably spot on.

Did some measurements on the hub and the caliper yesterday, and have made a CAD bracket now, first version. I think it'll foul some parts on the rear of the hub, but at least the 4 holes are on the correct location relative to each other.

Will be nice to try to test-fit. Probably to make a bracket in wood or something for a start :)

Didn't fit too well after all. Seem like the pad width is much larger on this brake discs.

So maybe easier just to get some 508 GT brakes complete then.

Might be, but this is the closest possible they can be mounted to the hub, so discs really need to be quite large OD.

But I think I'm putting the project dead. Time to start focusing on the 405 T16 overhaul again. The 407 has already taken too much of my time since I bought it in May 2012.
