With me being :

1 - lazy, so can't be bothered to wash and then wax a car;
2 - tighter than a pair of Rod Stewart's leopard print pants;

I purchased a bottle of Astonish 'Spray 'n' Shine' - 99p from Wilkinsons.

Well, I've just used this product on the jalopy - took 20 mins - wheels, glass, rubber the lot. The mota looks like it's just been washed and polished.

Don't bother with the other more expensive sprays - I'd recommend giving this one a go.

Clanless rating - 8 out of 10.

Is that not the one that was on "Watchdog" , about how the active ingredient is actually a form of acid that eats through all rubber it gets in contact with , i think they had to put a small disclaimer on the back of the bottle somewhere.:confused:

Nope - ph level is 7 to 8.

Water has a ph of 7 - the lower the ph the more acidic.

Give it a go - surely worth a punt for 99p?
