The clutch on wife's 307 went Christmas eve won't disingage so I decided to get it home half a mile starting it in gear and driving it home. All went well until a car pulled out in front and I had to stall it to stop. No car will not start at all . Is there a fuel cutoff or an imobiliser fuse. I've checked all under bonnet fuses all seem ok where is fuel pump fuse. I need to get car started again before I replace clutch any one help please

I think cut out is built into engine ECU on HDI's and ignition off/on resets.

What engine do have, if it has DMF or if clutch has major failure then swarf can build up on crank sensor or sensor can be damaged (does rev counter kick when cranking) or can you check live data for RPM signal

Crank sensor a good bet then. easy to remove and clean/inspect front of bellhousing near clutch actuator on most HDI models
