I think Mr mot tester might get a bit funny tho:

2.5 Exhaust system

The exhaust system will be inspected to check that:

it’s secure and complete
a catalyst isn’t missing where one was fitted as standard :nono:
it’s without serious leaks and not too noisy

unless your talking about smashing the guts out of the cat?

The days of power sapping catalytic converters are ancient history now.
When they were first used in North America they reduced Detroit's finest engines to emasculated shadows of their pre-cat days.
But technology has long caught up with the problems of catalyst systems, and overcome them, resulting in engines that are at once cleaner, smoother, more efficient, and as a bonus, much longer lasting than previous generations. I suggest you leave it alone.

If you want more power, just get another car. Decats and other mods are just going to be a minefield if you're stopped for a random check, or you have a crash and the undeclared & illegal mods are there for the insurance assessors to see.

Not to mention all the faults the car is going to pick up if the standard exhaust system has been messed about with and the sensors are detecting values other than what it's expecting.

A stage 1 remap is the best you're going to get out of this car.

With the dpf rules if yours has one many come with the cat and dpf that splits

You can cut it out but it’s going to cause more hassle
