There are loads of posts on here about dash cam installation and some of the resulting issues with interference issues with DAB and sat nav.
I have a nextbase 522 with hardwire kit which I stripped out of my previous car and want to install in the 408. In light of some of the issues notes in other posts I thought I would test fit it using the 12v cigarette lighter cable but route the cable as I would with a hardwire kit. So far no apparent issues although this isn’t exactly the same as a hardwire but enough to give me confidence to fit it properly.
what isn’t so good is how congested the fuse box is and how difficult it is to get to the fuses to fit a piggy back fuse cable! 😬
