Heya, does anyone know where to get a cheap cruise control only stick? there are plenty with limiter, but i've heard that you'd need to change the accelerator pedal for it to work?

Just get the one with the cruise and limiter, long as the cruise works it's fine. The stalk is the same just another option with limiter added.

Not sure I can justify £40 for cruise only when I can get a limiter one for
£15. But thanks anyway, will have to do a bit more eBay digging

just get the one with limiter, and if limiter works when activated then great but tbh I don't know anyone who has ever used that function!

I sell the switches on ebay and i can assure you they both work the same and there is no need to swap pedals !!

I have a limiter one on my sons 406 and it works fine but the limit function does not thats the only difference his should have the older type but i sold it :)

I have installed and activated a good few of the switches with cruise and limiter, even on standard 207's and the limiter has worked.

My stalk is the one with limiter. Fitted it to both my 307's and my 308. You can switch the limiter on but it won't work without the correct pedal. None of the three cars had the limiter pedal. Just enable the cruise control without limiter and you'll have no problems.

Are u just gonna trim the cowling to make the cruise fit or or get a new one? IIRC it's over 25 quid just for the cowling!

Never seen the pedal for limiter but it has an initial stop that can be overcome by pressing harder on the pedal for temporarily overiding the limit to allow you to overtake.

I'd go for the stalk with the limiter if it's so much cheaper. If limiter isn't available you can program the system for just cruise control instead of cruise with limiter and all will be well. The only difference between the two stalks is an extra 'Limit' graphic on the stalk and the rotary switch has three positions rather than just two. I leave ny stlk permanently set to cruise and use the set+, set- and pause buttons to switch cruise on or off.
