Hi,
I have 307 hdi 2.0 110 (107hp). 2001.

I need to replace crankshaft pulley, but I'm bit confused. One site shows that pulleys are the same for the cars from 2001 till 2005, but other that 2001 has different (08/2000 till 02/2002).


How to be sure?

There are 2 different style pulleys but they are interchangeable get the one that looks more simple/1 piece as this is the better one

That looks to be the same but viewed from the rear that should be the one you want they are very slightly smaller in diameter to the rattle type normally fitted but at least they wont rattle and if belt slip is a problem you just fit a slightly shorter belt

As I understand it's better to look for pulley which looks like in your picture?

The one I put up is the simpler type used on later cars it is slightly smaller as I say but much less troublesome some say they do not interchange but I have done lots and had no problem most engines I strip come with the later type fitted !!

one of the posts shows the size measure your one.

make sure its got the same amount of ribs too

Ribs are the same its only a 4mm diameter of a difference if I remember correctly
