Hi,

My mothers car has a problem where as the coolant pipes are rock hard once the engine is upto temp. I have replaced the thermostat, head gasket was changed last year I have numerous coolant flushes but it keep pressurising :( any ideas on what I can to fix it? Many thanks jay

Yes spent an hour last night bleeding the system, bout a cooling bottle cap figures crossedit works

Ive had a few HDI's and the coolant pipes are always hard when the engines hot, so long as theyre soft when stone cold its ok, check for things like loss of coolant oil contamination mayonaise in the oil dipstick or rocker cap so long as its not overheating i wouldnt worry you could always drop a little k-seal in there but i would suggest draining it a little first so it mixes all the way round
