Hi Team

I have just bought a solar trickle battery charger for my 1007 but my first problem is the when the ignition is turned off their's no power to the ignitor which I want to plug into with the solar panel, I looked at the fuse box but cant find a spare port for the fuse to be moved to.

A mechanic said by moving the fuse into a three port it will stay powered is this right and can you shed some more light on the subject.

on older pugs you could move the fuse down or up one spade and it changes it from ignition live to permanent live, if that makes sense.

excuse the artwork but hopefully you get the idea, might be an idea to check with someone else, have some spare fuse handy just in case
