Hi Advice needed

I own a peugeot 207 she has done 94000 miles. I had to replace the clutch as I burnt it after I got into a bit of rage driving in the westmidlands. Anyways I have had it replaced and when I first started driving I had a very low biting point. This has now moved though and the biting point is half way up the pedal. I got the mechanic who fitted the clutch to have a feel and he said it is where the clutch has adjusted itself and the the biting point is where it should be does this sound right should the biting point be half way up the pedal

Any answers would be great cheers
