I am planning to get dmf and clutch fitted on monday and have bought the parts for the job.Car is 307sw 2ltr hdi 2003 53 plate 110 .
I had a quick look at them last night and noticed that when I put the clutch plate onto the DMF the holes arent perfectly aligned.By that I mean the holes arent edge to edge straight through. I have attached a picture to show what Im talking about. Do these holes have to be perfectly aligned or Is this normal ?
I believe the parts I sourced were correct but this has puzzled me a bit. The parts are all valeo and numbers are 9650866480 , 9651223280 and 9657770280. Is there any way of knowing if this is a compatable set ?

As far as I'm aware, the only parts that need to be perfectly aligned are the splined hub in the friction plate and the centre bearing in the flywheel so that the first motion shaft of the gearbox will fit. A cheap clutch alignment tool or spare gearbox shaft will accomplish this while you bolt the pressure plate onto the flywheel.
