Guys need some advice pulled in to get some diesel every thing OK put some fuel in and ever since its been hard to get into first to pull away all the other gears go in but need more effort there's no clutch slip or smell of a burning clutch and she still excelerates fine the clutch pedal feels a little light compered to what it used to be like got me flummoxed ain't got a clue what it can be also no loss of clutch fluid I thought it might be the gearbox cables any one have any ideas cheers

Likely to be clutch release bearing not pushing or pulling enough on the clutch cover. Number of reasons, failing clutch master or slave cylinder, broken clutch pedal, air in hydraulics etc.
If its a 2.0 diesel you can view the action of the slave cylinder by removing the square plastic cover on the front top of the gearbox.
Don't force the gears in the meantime, can turn off the engine at the lights and start it on green with the clutch down and in 1st.
